Our In-house Design Capabilities are as follows

At Gammon T & D, we have one of the modern design facilities located at Mumbai. Our design team comprises of highly qualified and experienced Design Engineers and detailers having successfully designed extra high River Crossing towers as well as towers upto 765 kV.

The design facility is well equipped to do Lattice tower designs upto 1200 kV using softwares such as STAAD PRO, i Tower software, & PLS Tower and Monopole designs by using PLS pole by Power Line USA. BOCAD-3D drafting software is used to generate shop sketches, BOM & CNC data automatically.

Profiling is prepared with "PLS-CADD" software. Google Earth Software is linked with PLS-CADD Software to optimize quantity estimation using method-4.

Gammon T & D has state-of-the-art tower testing facility that is fully automatic with Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition (SCADA) software technology. Our tower testing station has been accorded "Recognition of IN-HOUSE R&D centre" by Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology.

The testing facility can test towers with maximum height of 85m (280 ft), maximum base width of 30 m (100 ft), and upto 1200 kV with multiple loading combinations upto 62 nos.

The testing station is located in the same area of tower factory at Wardha. This reduces proto delivery time & member substitution. Tower crane expedites tower erection & dismantling. Tested many self supporting and guyed towers upto 765 kV as well as monopoles.

We have designed / tested more than 100 types of towers up to 800kV including extra high River Crossing towers for Indian and Oversees Clients. Out of which more than 30 types of towers including 735kV Guyed Towers & 275kV Monopoles have been carried out at our Deoli (Wardha) Test Bed.
